MARC Brought the Spinners to Town
with Ron Johnson's pre-show

On Saturday evening the musical group, the Spinners, entertained a full house at the Meherrin River Performing
Arts Center. The famous group from the 70s performed many of their hits.
Before the Spinners took the stage, Mr. Ron Johnson provided the comedy. Ron invited audience members to
the stage to participate in his comical antics. Besides singing, Ron also brought some of his ventriloquist characters to
the stage.

wonderful evening. Your show was one of the best we've had offered to us. The music was wonderful as well as all
the puppets. And Oddis was my favorite. If anyone needs some good clean entertainment Ron is the man to call.
He interacts with his audience and includes them in his show which makes each person feel special. My group ranged
from mid- 20's to 75 years in age and we all had a wonderful time. Thanks again for a wonderful program, Ron.
